Birdbath Theatres is pleased to present our second production, Eugene Ionesco’s RHINOCEROS.
It is, on the surface, a play about people transforming into Rhinoceroses. Beneath the absurdity, we find questions of personal and social morality, an individual’s relationship to society, ideology, crowd mentality, and the nature of love and resistance.
Although originally produced in France during 1959, the play feels uncomfortably timely in America today.
Performing at The Belrose in San Rafael,
Tickets can be pre-ordered here through Brown Paper Tickets.
Friday and Saturdays, July 7th-22nd at 7pm

In accordance with our vision and ideals to make theatre accessible to all peoples, no one will be turned away at the door for lack of funds. If you show up and want to see this play, we want to see you in the audience.
If you believe in this vision too, you can help us by donating at the door so we can keep producing thoughtful, heartfelt, affordable theatre while staying dedicated to paying our artists for their hard work.
